On this fifth occasion the IDN festival again brings to Barcelona a selection of national and international dance works in combination with audiovisual and interactive languages.

Audiovisual creations where gesture explains itself without words and where we can watch dance with the added value of the perspectives of a camera that rewrites the choreography. Interactive works where we participate with our movement in the transformation and generation of effects, creating new visual and sound environments.

A programme intended to stimulate ideas and the senses and explain the how and why of the interest so many contemporary artists show in developing hybrid territories, creating spaces for dialogue between the different disciplines.

IDN is a festival aimed at all audiences, lovers of the movement arts, those curious about the creative applications of new technologies and those interested in research into the visual and sound arts … not to forget the younger publics and even very small children. A series of activities that will fill the Mercat de les Flors and which includes presentations and discussions with artists from all the fields involved: choreographers, filmmakers, visual artists, software engineers, musicians and performers.
