XAVIER BOBÉS Cosas que se olvidan fácilmente (Things easily forgotten)

Last year, the creator of this show realized he was beginning to have problems with his memory. And he discovered that his mother also suffered important lapses. This forgetfulness inspired Cosas que se olvidan fácilmente (Things easily forgotten), a photographic show that transforms memories and, in the same way as the mind does, invents new ones. A short story set in the second half of the twentieth century in Spain. A card game converted into a theatrical production for five spectators.

Actor, manipulator and theatrical creator, Xavier Bobés describes himself as self-taught. Passionate about the poetry of objects, he has investigated all kinds of everyday things for over ten years. He works with other artists as a performer and as a manipulator. His work involves a deeper exploration of the symbolic and theatrical content of objects and everything supposedly trivial, through creation, experimentation and teaching.
