A void generates impossible images and fantastic paintings. This work presents a game of appearances and disappearances of bodies, between black holes and bright lights. Vacuum explores a new aspect of our sensory perception, through an optical illusion created by two neon lights.

Philippe Saire, one of the leading figures in contemporary Swiss dance, has created some thirty shows, as well as site-specific performances, short films and workshops. His choreographic work, often intense and carefully crafted, integrates the visual arts, theatre and film. Since its inception in 1986, the company has performed more than 1,400 shows in more than two hundred cities around the world. In 1995, Philippe Saire inaugurated Théâtre Sévelin 36, his work space in Lausanne, dedicated exclusively to contemporary dance.
