Festival EL MÉS PETIT DE TOTS (THE YOUNGEST OF ALL)

Small children spend their early years exploring the world and observing everything with enormous curiosity. The festival El més petit de tots (The youngest of all) aims to encourage their artistic discoveries through a selection of very delicate, personal and approachable shows.

The festival El més petit de tots was launched in Sabadell in 2005 on the initiative of La Sala Miguel Hernández and has a marked international vocation. On the eight previous occasions, the festival has served as a showcase for the presentation of very accessible, high-quality artistic creations, providing a model for an artistic sector in need of attention in this country.

The project has grown: in 2010 Teatre de l’Aurora in Igualada joined the festival, and in 2012 it was extended throughout Catalonia with the participation of Mercat de les Flors in Barcelona, Teatre Principal in Olot, Teatre de l’Escorxador in Lleida and Teatre Municipal in Benicàssim. And this year, 2013, will also see the participation of Teatre-Auditori in Sant Cugat and Teatre Clavé in Tordera.
