CIA NADINE GERSPACHER Elegantly Wasted

Elegantly Wasted is an operetta of physical theatre that portrays scenes from the daily life of a hopelessly lost diva. In this tragicomic performance, the audience is drawn into the visceral realm of hidden emotions.

Founded in January 2011 by Nadine Gerspacher, Anna Fontanet Bassas and Helena Canas Estremera, this young company bases its dance on contemporary dance and physical theatre. The company’s first piece, Run, was premiered in June 2011. This was followed by Elegantly Wasted, created in October 2011 and premiered at the Centre Cívic Barceloneta and at Roberto Olivan’s Espai de Creació ENCLAVE. The company has also performed this piece at various festivals.
