Beyond sports, among a World Football Cup and an Olimpic Games, Brazil is a country with many interessanting creators who desire, not to be the first and beat other competitors, they desire to explain stories full of art and social commitment. Our intention with this cycle is to offer a first view of the actual creation, of a dance which has set up because of the vital need of the country. Brazil has experimented transformations and social movements and it is decisive to develop this desires.

Our relationship with Brazil begins with Trocas, an educational Project which starts in November 2014 with the Support of Acción Cultural Española and it arrives to the other part of the Athlantic with spanish companies whose productions are adressed to a familiar audience. In this Project will also find a set of learning actions from pedagogical department of El Mercat. Different theaters from Rio, Sao Paulo, Belo Horizonte and Fortaleza are visited with the support of the brazilian institution Funarte and others.

The return is the schedules that we will set up with brazilian companies this season. This cycle is curated by El Mercat with the collaboration and the complicacity of different festivals, particularly Festival Panorama of Rio de Janeiro or the International Dance Forum in Belo Horizonte, among Others.
