Constellation LIA RODRIGUES COMPANHIA DE DANÇAS

We dedicate a constellation to a Brazilian choreographer who is deeply involved with her country; through contemporary dance Lia Rodrigues has developed an important project in a disadvantaged sector of Brazilian society. Hers is an ethical, aesthetic and political commitment. “Above all, I consider myself a free artist, committed to my country’s history and roots.”

We present three of her most outstanding shows and a piece by the French choreographer with whom she has worked, Maguy Marin, who also displays a deep social commitment.
