IRREGULAR SECTION

From October 2013 to May 2014

This third season the Secció Irregular keeps growing and proposes a stable program from October to May.

With pieces that focus on experimentation, this program hosts artists who constantly explore the possibilities of being and indirectly point to new forms of social organization.

These works take the body and choreography as a reference and use tools from a wide array of practices such as music, dance, hypnosis, film, ritual, sadomasochism, pop or visual arts. The pieces establish their own formats according to their needs.

On this occasion, some proposals will require us to leave Mercat de les Flors and to visit the Collserola Natural Park, the National Library of Catalunya and the Fundació Antoni Tàpies.

With the collaboration of Graner, we support local and national new productions that will be presented during 2014. Through the parallel activities, spectators can establish a close relationship with the processes of creation. Consistent with this idea of continuity, some of the artists who have already shown their work at the Secció Irregular such as Norberto Llopis, Amanda Piña and Daniel Zimmermann will be presented again.
