THE SHOW

The search into the purest side of the interior of human beings, and into its connection with the universe, both so close and so far, generates true happiness. Using this starting point, the Catalan choreographer Roberto Olivan, who divides his work between Brussels and Catalonia, has conceived a show that combines the organic forms with strength and energy, always proposing fresh emotional registers, and where contemporary dance is expressed through different stage languages.

THE COMPANY

Trained at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona and at the P.A.R.T.S. school directed by choreographer Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker (Rosas), whom he has worked with on various shows, Olivan formed his company in Belgium in 2003 and has created numerous shows that have been seen around the world. He has given a large number of classes and workshops and has combined his work as a dancer and choreographer with the artistic direction of the Deltebre Dansa Festival since 2004.
