Two major performing arts companies from Canada have joined forces to create Betroffenheit, an innovative hybrid production that erases the boundaries between theatre and dance. A brilliant piece that speaks of loss, trauma, addiction and recovery through some surprising imagery.

Founded by renowned choreographer Crystal Pite, the Kidd Pivot company maintains a fine balance between maximum precision and irreverence and risk, displaying great dramatic sensitivity and keen wit. Pite has danced with various leading companies, including Forsythe, Cullberg Ballet and Nederlands Dans Theater I.
The Electric Company Theatre, formed collectively in 1996, creates and adapts theatre plays, placing the emphasis on physical and visual imagery and combining artistic disciplines.
