DOCE forms part of the research work La liturgia de las horas by Juan Carlos Lérida, flamenco dancer, choreographer and instructor, recipient of the 2007 extraordinary prize from the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona.

The work, which began in 2018 and will end in 2020, is based on meetings with several professional associations and will result in a 12-hour touring show. In DOCE the choreographer is accompanied by 12 artists and musicians.
