A danced talk on street dances that combines music, video, photography, the spoken word and live movement. A chance to take a deep dive into the original context of these forms of expression to understand their present and appreciate their potential as a tool for social, political and artistic regeneration, both on the streets and on stage. Followed by the breaking and popping choreography One, by Legacy Dance Company.

Transmissions is the result of a research process started by Guille Vidal-Ribas and Javi Casado that brings together the knowledge acquired in the course of twenty years as street dance practitioners, combining it with information gathered from a wide range of documents and interviews with pioneering figures and national and international touchstones in the field.
