InTarsi is a vital journey undertaken by four acrobats through dance, physical theatre and, above all, circus arts such as acrobatics, banquine, mini-tramp and teeterboard. Both visceral and reflective, the show is full of energy and sensitivity and always marked by gentle humour.
This piece, which was staged at the Mercat last year to great success, received the Special Jury Prize at the 7th Zirkólika Catalonia Circus Awards (2016).
The “eia” Circus Company was formed in 2009. After five years’ experience as a stable team (CAPAS, their first production, has toured all over Europe, with more than 150 shows in 12 countries), the company expanded the original line-up by inviting other artists to participate in the following two shows. The “eia” Circus Company won the City of Barcelona Award 2011 in the circus category.
