Some scenes in this show take place with naked or semi-naked bodies

Monjour is a performative device that offers a reflection on the power and play of manipulation between the performer and the audience. Two dancers, a clown/actor and two acrobats establish choreographic practices on the relationship between the body and comicality, and between design and aesthetics, as well as on the relationship between the performer and the audience. In the piece, which features pop drawings by artist Francesca Ghermandi, the protagonists follow the directions of the director of a modern circus. This show offers us both intelligent and liberating fun.

Italian choreographer Silvia Gribaudi puts comicality and the relationship between the audience and the artist at the centre of the choreographic language. Her career began in 2004, with performances at numerous national and international festivals that have developed from creative processes focused on dialogue and poetic encounters with other artists, companies and communities. She is also the co-founder, along with Chiara Frigo and Giuliana Urciuoli, of the Zebra cultural association.
