LA VERONAL Pasionaria

Choreographer Marcos Morau asks questions about emotions, and explores the theme of what happens when passion turns into obsession. The music of Bach and Morau’s personal movement technique as interpreted by seven excellent dancers are the pillars of this new production.

With first-class co-producers, such as the Théâtre National de Chaillot in Paris, the Théâtres de la Ville in Luxembourg, Sadler’s Wells in London, Madrid’s Teatros del Canal, Mercat de les Flors and the Catalan festival Grec, the company currently finds itself in a strong global position. Morau founded La Veronal in 2005 and ever since he’s been regarded as an essential creator on the international choreographic scene, while also receiving awards such as the Spanish National Dance Prize in 2013.
