PEP RAMIS - MAL PELO The Mountain, the Truth & the Paradise (2019-20)

Pep Ramis presents a solo that emerged from the need to construct a personal fiction, to update the experience of recent work and carry out research on his current artistic interests. Working alone at the age of fifty also means re-examining the accumulated tools of the choreographic trade. The Mountain, the Truth & the Paradise is intended to be a turning point. A personal, humorous look at the human race and its circumstances.

Pep Ramis is a dancer, actor and stage director. He formed Mal Pelo with María Muñoz in 1989, a dance company that bases its work on constant research into new languages. This approach has given rise to numerous shows, with tours around the world and various awards into the bargain. In 2001, they set up the centre for artistic creation and exchange L’animal a l’esquena.
