One of the leading companies on the British scene is noted for combining dance, physical theatre and innovative technologies in daring choreographies. Celebrating the company’s tenth anniversary, Yesterday features outstanding moments from its repertoire
Jasmin Vardimon was born and raised in a Kibbutz in Israel, where she began a career in dance that brought her to London. An Associate Artist at Sadler’s Wells since 2006, Vardimon is now a leading force in contemporary dance. She founded her own company ten years ago, and celebrates this anniversary with a retrospective piece that combines the finest moments from the company’s repertoire with new choreographic material. Insightful and engaging, this is work that fuses humour, drama, provocation and surprising images, often created through the sagacious use of audiovisual resources. Prepare to be moved by scenes that are wrought from acute observation of human nature
